The Legacy of the S: Mapping the S of the Senna in Brazil

iD\ TBWA presented us with an exciting challenge: mapping the S of the InterLagos Seine and finding other similar curves around Brazil, curves with similar length, layout, angles, and direction.

Audi, Warner Bros. and Discovery celebrate Ayrton Senna in a new documentary, which tells behind the scenes of the creation of the Senna's iconic S curve.

The curve that was “locked” in InterLagos - the same one where F1 lovers and Senna fans, despite knowing its color design, were never able to follow its paths and try its layout - was mapped to be located on other roads in Brazil.

Bubble's mission was to map the curve and scan it, using algorithms and mathematical functions that measure spatial distances and angles, to find new S of the Senna in Brazil. You can see this complete journey in the documentary The Legacy of the S: Mapping the S of the Senna in Brazil.
