Pong Against the Machine

Recreate the classic PONG and design it in a building during Hack Town 2022, developing an interactive experience for multiple participants to make the most of this activation together.

Bolha created and developed the game PONG AGAINST THE MACHINE in partnership with Femto, Valley and Casarão, with the support of Visualfarm and Vivavox.

In our version of PONG, several participants played together to defeat the machine, in a challenging social experiment that required a lot of coordination, unity, and collaboration from everyone.

The game was designed in a 20-story building in the city of Santa Rita do Sapucaí, in Minas Gerais. Each player used their cell phone as a joystick, touching the screen or moving the device (accelerometer) to control the game.
