We explore technologies, chart feasible paths, and map solutions until the project vision can be clearly written. We are solution architects and specialists in indicating HOW to do it and, in the end, for actually doing it - from ideation to execution.
Bolha has a culture of constant research and experimentation with technologies and their applications, and this is fundamental to enrich our repertoire.
We are often challenged with ideas from different industries, demanding talent and knowledge from diverse areas: medicine, the chemical industry, the food industry, and others. In these cases, we bring specialists from each industry to the team to research solutions and validate hypotheses together with us.
In other cases, there is already a well-resolved idea and it already comes with an indication of HOW to do it, which is sometimes not the best path. In these cases, we participate in a new idea with the client and are co-authors of the solution, where we indicate the most appropriate path for the challenge.
A quick example. The original idea of SafeCap had as its solution the use of EEG as a sleep measurement, but we knew that it was not the best solution, because it would be impractical when considering: costs, miniaturization to fit a cap, comfort and usability, and battery life. What do we propose? A solution based on accelerometer data, which underwent machine learning training to identify movement patterns and recognize sleepy driving situations, resulting in a much smaller, lighter and more comfortable device.
Ideation journey
When challenges, pains and needs are mapped out but there is still no definite big idea, an idea capable of describing a project, then Bolha supports its clients through an ideation journey. The journey is a dynamic of co-creation (similar to a design sprint) where Bolha and the client build the project vision together, clearly and objectively describing what must be done and outlining the feasible paths of the proposed solution.
